That's a matter of taste. I actually find some of them exceptionally good photography. I don't mind having those more artistic ones, but the ones I really like are the the photographers splendid work.

The Vista retail boxes were more interesting. These look like a cross between Vista and XP. I hope they aren't real.

Wow, it's a box...it doesn't need to be a work of art. You buy it, open it, take out the contents, then put the box aside, likely to never be used/looked at again unless it's to throw it away.
