Hello people.

Have a question about some components I’ve put together with the help of AI. Do you guys think it would be a decent system for 2k casual gaming? Is there anything I can upgrade for the better at the same price range? (£1350 including the monitor). I really don’t know this stuff and this would be my first attempt to build a computer on my own. I’ll leave some specs below. Please let me know what do you think. Thank you.

GPU:

MSI GeForce RTX 4060 Ti GAMING X SLIM 16G

Something with DDR5, better build IMHO overall and room to upgrade. The processor comes with a stock cooler so you can forgo the Thermalright cooler until you can save up for something down the road. you can shave £10 if you choose the 750W variant of the above listed PSU but you're not gaining much by doing so. Assuming you don't need the OS or peripherals as it's not shown in your listing above.

Just wondering. With your system, is it possible to keep the GPU that I have selected? I really like that card

Thank you guys for taking the time to help me. I’m looking closely at every post.

I could stretch my budget to £1500. With this in mind, I’d like to get maybe an RTX2070. MSI gaming x is my go to card even though it’s like £700 on Amazon. I don’t fancy AMD cards at all.

RTX 2070 is the slowest card mentioned so far in this thread, and anyone trying to sell one for that much is trying to rob people of their money.

You might not fancy AMD, but right now they are typically the best price/performance option, right now. You can go with a 5070, but you miss out on an extra 4gb vram vs a 9070, have to deal with the terrible 12v high power plug, and 5000 series Nvidia drivers have been wonky at best.
