Hope you all will help. :bounce: :pt1cable: 😀

The Nvidia Control Panel has an option to override VSync settings, and it looks like it has been enabled somehow. You should try to disable VSync.

Your other option is, since CS is an OpenGL game, you may also be able to enable Triple Buffering with VSync enabled to increase FPS above the 60 hz refresh rate.

^ Which raises the point, that there most likely is no point in going above 60FPS. I suppose OP might be on a CRT which it could help with... a little... but if it's an LCD it probably won't change anything.

Also, I'm always a little surprised people still play a game like this competitively. This one and Starcraft come to mind as really old, out dated games, that are still popular.

The 60fps vs 120fps is a long long discussion full of flaming, he said she said, and some times, though rarely, facts. Maybe not in this thread :)

hershgupta, have you tried looking for the VSync option? Also, have you updated your video card drivers?

Well, maybe Starcraft is outdated, but CS 1.6 has everything CS:Source has except for pretty graphics.
