At first I was disappointed because I was expecting BF3 level graphics or something. I also didnt expect the maps to be complete carbon copies of their originals with new decals and different textures. But as time went on I grew to appreciate the modest update. The new maps shine better than the remakes since the artists had more freedom to use what few upgrades to the source engine have been made.

Overall for $15 it's decent. I know valve's intent was to make a fast, clean deathmatch shooter to hark back to the old days. I appreciate the thought, but I'm too used to DX10 quality games now and just feel like I'm playing on outdated hardware back in time.

I would have really liked to see weapon customization implemented. Despite all the things BF3 did wrong, weapon customization was one thing they got right. I'm disappointed that there weren't any updates to the old weapon system in CSGO.

simple, cheap, fast, competitive and runs-on-anything min specs...that's what CS has always meant. If you had different impressions, please adjust your expectations or pick another game.

It's unplayable in stereoscopic 3D. The 3D vision itself is great, but it is impossible to aim with that crosshair floating in your face.

Fail! How about them Portal2 devs contacting the CS team and show them how to implement a proper S-3D crosshair...

That sucks. At least 5760x1080 @ 120hz is working great. I will come back and try it out 3d later when a patch comes out. I'm very competitive so I usually leave the 3d for adventure/racing games anyway. 120hz movement is sooo clear!

CS GO is pretty fun, but definitely not as engaging as BF3.
