Counter-Strike: GO Performance Build on Budget

Solution
Well..... the only solution i can think of is to buy like a very long lan cable. if that's not possible for you then i guess you'll have to make do with a wifi dongle afterall.. But since you're far away from the modem, i think it makes more sense to not rely on its stability for playing competitive FPS games. if you have a good connection still, you'll only experience it once in a while, but if its strength signal is weak, then better be prepared for some frame skipping.
Its perfect. although if you do competitive CS, you might want to go with lan cables to your modem as the drops in the framerates that you will be experiencing will come from the inconsistency in the wifi frequency.

Do you know if there's any way around this for the time being?

I am very far away from my modem, but I move in a few months.
