Counter strike source not working???

So I bought counter strike source and when I open it it trys to tab me in but it just goes black and tabs me back to the windows screen but it still stays open. I have tried updating graphics card drivers and restarting pc but nothing is working. Please help.

If you have it on Steam, right click on the game in the library, settings, set launch options, then write " -Windowed" 😉

Reinstall the game then see if it works. The game may of installed wrong

Most players prefer full screen mode to windowed mode.

I know, but it's simplest fix - you'll have windowed mode once, then you can switch to fullscreen

Its doing this for payday 2 now any fix?

Try same way like CSS. Might help.
