Couple questions for my upgrade!

1) which is the best graphics card I should upgrade to for 1080p gaming (my cx430 only has a single 8 pin pcie cable).
2) if the card does not have a VGA port, which adapter should I be looking at to buy. Thanks!

The 750Ti is a fair bit better than the R7 250 - http://gpuboss.com/gpus/Radeon-R7-250-vs-GeForce-GTX-750-Ti

The CX 430 is not a very good quality PSU - http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html#xtor=EPR-8886 so I wouldn't load it up too much. The 750Ti needs 100W less than the gtx960.

The 960 would work. Im sure of it. I know, and maybe you do too, that the CX line is far from a real great brand of PSU, but it will do the 960 as long as the rest of the computer is modest. On the 960 box it even says "400 Watt PSU required." Yes, the 750 Ti uses less power, But you get FAR less performance. Personally I wouldnt invest in a 750, not enough of an upgrade. and no problems!

So the cx430 could handle an x4 860k and a 960 do you think? Because I believe the 860k is not very efficient and is pretty power hungry. Then again, I'm a total noob at this xD

Well I had a FX 6300 over clocked AND on water cooling, so I think I was actually using MORE energy than you will be.
