Yesterday the power on my home went out and today when i tried to play a game the cpu went to 99% and the game crashed after a few secs the temperature are normal what should i do?
I did what you told me and i still have he same problem.Hi ano1337,
This could be a one-off issue, but can I recommend you to clear your CMOS? It has fixed some issues regarding performance and usability after a power cut. What game are you trying to play that keeps crashing?
To clear CMOS:
Try that and if it doesn't work let me know
- Turn off computer and disconnect from wall.
- Hold power button down with computer disconnected for 10 seconds.
- Open up computer and remove the CMOS battery and leave it unplugged for 1 minute, and on modern motherboards there could be a "Clear CMOS" button.
- Reconnect the computer, turn it on and enter in the date, time and any other information that might have been cleared by removing the battery.
Regards
Hi,I did what you told me and i still have he same problem.
The application is crashing and even after clearing the CMOS.The application wasnt having any issues before the power outage and the cpu usage is higher even when i try to open new tab on chrome.Hi,
Did the application crash or the computer? What are your temps like whilst using the application?
Okay it sounds interesting the high CPU usage. Could you please send a photo/screenshot of your task manager so i can work out what is using the CPU the most? Also can you try installing HWMonitor and post a photo/screenshot of the page? Have you seen TMPIN5 at 127 degrees? It could be the cause but unsure if that is southbridge or something else maybe VRM.Is this just one web-based game or application crashing? You might have gotten some corruption at the time of the power outage...
Do other things crash?
(Your 'idle' photo shows several IE tabs open...were they open, at the time of the window capture?)
If things go 'weird' just with Chrome, try removing it and reinstalling just CHrome,,,,
