I have intel Dual Core E7500 Processor with intel DG40CN Motherboard which Support 2*ddr2 which max 4GB of memory. What to do if i want to increase my Memory to upto 8 to 12 GB. Should i change my motherboard or if yes which mother board should i buy to increase my Memory?

Also what if i used Combi type motherboard which has 2 slots of DDR2 And 2 slots of DDR3 RAM. It will work in my case if i used 2 of 2GB DDR2 and 2 of 4GB DDR3 ?

You cannot mix DDR2 and DDR3 due to different memory chip layouts, operating voltages, changes in timing ranges, operating frequency ranges, etc. You can use one or the other.

Save your money for a full platform upgrade to something like a Ryzen 2200G, B450 motherboard and 8-16GB of DDR4, $300-350.

It won't translate to much of an improvement esp with such dual core processor. I've been switching RAM frequency back to back with my 1333mhz DDR3 on a Core 2 Quad system & i didn't really notice differences except maybe i'm only on single channel mode.

What i would recommend is to upgrade to a newer platform, atleast an LGA 1155 Sandy Bridge i3 or i5 & get a couple of 1333mhz DDR3 to run in dual channel mode. That'll gain you a huge if not noticeable leap against your E7500.

so if a upgrade my platform the which power supply should i but 450 watt or any other

there are numerous 430-450 watt units out there that will do the job for a basic system perhaps saving a few $, however, if you even think/suspect you might want to add a discrete GPU later, I'd just initially pay the extra $10-$15 or so now, and start with a decent 600-650 watt PSU now so you do not end up wishing you had later...

What PSU is needed depends on what hardware you are planning on using.
Something like a $32 Corsair CX 450 80+ Bronze is the bare minimum for what I would suggest. https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Q7...onze-certified-atx-power-supply-cp-9020120-na
I would really recommend a SeaSonic FOCUS 80+ Gold 550W since it offers higher efficiency, quality, and wattage: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Km...ified-semi-modular-atx-power-supply-ssr-550fm
A 450w can support up to a GTX 1660ti, perfect for 1080p MAX.
A 550 can support up to an RTX 2070, great for high refresh or 1440p gaming at MAX settings.
