For the CPU I am debating on getting a i5-7500 or 7600. It is a $40 difference in Canada. Would it be worth the price difference?

For the GPU I am going to get a 1060 because I am building in a Elite 110 case so size is a concern. I am debating on brand and 3gb vs 6gb. The Zotac 3gb is $248 while the EVGA 3gb is $270. The Zotac 6gb is $310 and the EVGA 6gb is $340. Is the 6gb worth the extra $60-70 and I've heard people say stay away from Zotac but for the price difference I believe it should be considered. Games I play are Skyrim Remastered, FFXIV, Overwatch, Diablo and in the future Destiny 2.

Off these items what would you do for the best bang for your buck?

Thanks in advance

CPU: Roughly a theoretical 9% difference. I would say it's worth it for gaming.

GPU: The EVGA has higher base and boost clocks over the Zotac 1060 6GB, so if you'd rather not OC yourself, the EVGA would be the better option. Otherwise, Zotac isn't a bad brand. It's not like they're the DiabloTEK of GPUs. haha.

EVGA: 1607 core, 1835 boost
Zotac: 1506 core, 1708 boost

Would you see much a difference from the 3gb to 6gb card on most modern games?

The 3GB not only has half the VRAM, it's just not as strong in general.

You will see a difference in modern games at high+ settings on 1080p or higher resolutions.

I like this benchmark this fellow did for reference when it comes to 1060 3/6gb and RX480 8gb.

Solution
I did pick an answer already but have come up with another question and instead of starting a new thread I thought I would try and continue this one! I may get a new case since a buddy really wants mine or the same one. A RX480 4gb in Canada I could get for $240 after rebate. For this price would you go with a RX480 4gb or pay the extra and get a 1060? For the price difference I could upgrade ram from 8gb to 16gb if I went with the RX480

As for cases:

(I'm not the guy to ask, look at this post of mine from yesterday lol)

Yeah, RX 480 and an 8GB ram upgrade sounds better than a GTX 1060 6GB. Especially if you end up using a nice and cheap(er than Gsync) 1080p FreeSync monitor.
