Cpu at 100% usage when playing games!!!! Please helo :'(

Hello, my cpu is getting to100% even when playing old games like star wars battlfront 2!
My rig is- Athlon 64 x2 6000+
8gb ddr2 ram
ASUS R7 240 2gb Low Profile
550w thermaltake psu.

This has been happening for a while now, so any help is appreciated!
p.s,my ram is weird. 1stick is 2gbs ddr2 1066mhz, whilst the others are 2gb ddr2 800mhz. Could this be the problem? and also, i have absolutley NO budget for an upgrade atm.

This is normal at OLD CPUs.
Your Mobo and CPU cooler maybe wee can OC a bit this

will an OC to 3.21ghz help? or more? i am using the stock am2+ cooler :\ but my mobo (m2n68-vm) has set options in bios for +0.21ghz

Before OC first check your temps use Hwmonitor http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html
And run OCCT to check temp under load http://www.ocbase.com/
If temps will be below 55C you can OC a bit * max temp for your CPU is 64C
After OC run OCCT and check temps * also this program checking if you CPU working correctly at higher clock.
