Hi guys,
After doing multiple benchmarks it seems that my CPU scores are lower than they should be and I'm looking for someone to tell me why this is.
Here are the results for the CPU
1) Passmark's Performance Test 9.0

Like you can see it's on the 90th percentile, which only 0.4 owners of the i7 7700k have.
2) Maxon's Cinebench R15

As far as I'm aware most people get much higher scores (something between 1100 and 1500 cb)
3) UserBenchmark

On UserBenchmark the scores are always ok, for some reason

1)Passmark is not a reliable benchmark. So don't bother about its scores.

2)Cinebench scores are normal. 1100 and 1500 may be overclocked scores.

3)I don't know much about UserBenchmark.

What is your RAM and Mobo?

Sorry, I'm only now seeing your question.
The motherboard is MSI B150m PRO-VD and the RAM is a Samsung DDR4 8Gb 2133mhz

Yeah, that sounds about right running at stock speed.

The Cinebench is dead on for stock.

Mine gets 1095 @ 5.0 GHz.

1064 @ 4.8 GHz (I run mine at 4.8 GHz Normally)

1004 @ Stock (That's with XMP Enabled on a Z270 MB, DDR4 3000)

So yes your scores are right inline with what they should be.

It all depends on Ram speed when not overclocking, the MB chipset etc.

The CPU is going to run at 4.5 GHz.

If one is running DDR4 2133 or DDR4 2400 the scores will be lower.

Just make sure XMP is enabled in the bios.
