I am in the process of selecting a CPU for a PC intended for gaming, and some Machine Learning. I have found the CPU Benchmarks of tom's hardware, which have been done with Windows 10/11.
I would like to know if these are results can be roughly translated to a Linux system, i.e. to make sure that a well performing CPU on Windows can be expected to perform similarly on Linux. Distro is likely to be Arch.
If you have experience and/or resources, I would be grateful for sharing.
