CPU bottleneck question

I currently have an i3-2120. I would like to upgrade my gpu to a 7870. Will the 2120 bottleneck the 7870?

Depends on the game. Some games will be heavily bottlenecked, such as a BF4 multiplayer or Planetside 2, while others won't.
Depending on your current GPU, it might be worth upgrading to an i5 before buying a new GPU.

the 2120 should be fine for the 7870 but anything higher than a 7870 id recommand a amd 6- to 8 core or a 4core i5

are u getting the normal 7870 then you are fine

if u are getting the 7870 xt then u are not ... i3 will bottle it
