[SOLVED] CPU bottleneck?

I have had my pc for around 3 years now. Up until now its been working fine. But today when I played Valorant and other games, my audio cuts out and I have frame drops. When I see what's going on with my cpu and gpu it's telling me that the cpu is bottlenecking my gpu. But I don't know what cpu to upgrade too or if there is a way to save it.

CPU: Ryzen 5 1600
GPU: MSI Radeon RX 580 8GB Armor
RAM: Crucial Ballistix 3600 MHz DDR4 16GB (8GBx2)
PSU:Corsair CP-9020122-NA CX Series 650 Watt
MOBO: Asrock x470 master sli/ac
HDD: Western Digital 1TB SATA 3.5 Hard Drive

You don’t just loose performance, if it was ok and it’s not now you need to figure out why. It looks like the cpu is overheating, what cooler do you have and is it working correctly and free from dust?

I just have the wraith spire cooler that came with the cpu. I also cleaned out the dust and applied new thermal paste around 3 months ago.

Something is not right as in that picture is says it’s at 89.9c

try disable fTPM in bios security options, some ryzen mainboards cause this when TPM gets enabled
if that doesnt solve it, run latencymon, it should be able to tell whats causing it
