CPU buying choice

What cpu should i buy i5 2400 or fx 6300 for gaming only? I want to pair one of these cpu's with 8 gig ram and powercolor r9 270. And pls no OC

For gaming, i5 2400 should be slighty better than fx 6300.

if you want to do only gaming then u should go for AMD fx 6300 as its Cloaking Mechanism is far more better than i5 2400 and it also works much better with R9-270 Graphics Card so i will suggest go for AMD fx 6300 processor

Lol and i finally understood that buying amd cpu is not worth they are weaker they heat more consume
more power which makes them even more weaker

Between an old i5 2400 & a 6300 I would personally take the 6300.
