Question CPU came out with heatsink?

Hello,

I have been working on a new build. It has been about 7 years since the last time I had to do this.

I am using an MSI X470 Gaming Plus mobo with Ryzen 2600X. I found that I needed to replace GPU due to incompatibility. to gain access for removal I attempted to remove the Hyper 212 EVO Black RGB and CPU came out of socket stuck to heatsink.

I did not see bent pins so I replaced and now will not post only get RGB and spinning of fans and CPU LED on mobo lights red.

Is it more likely I damaged socket or CPU?

Should be the mobo, but i'm not sure. Normally you have just to reinstall the cpu and everything works
If you don't see bended pins on the cpu it should be ok...

Did you check for missing pins ?
