CPU Change problem

Hello. I have a laptop, and my current CPU is a Pentium t3200 2Ghz, i want to change it to a Core i3-3110M that i found really cheap.

My problem is: The i3 "fits" on my laptop?

Different sockets, won't work. Even if the socket was the same, unless the manufacturers Bios supports it, it still might not work. If you want to upgrade, go to your laptop makers website and see what processors your model will accomodate.

Also just fyi most laptop cpus are not socketed and are soldered on Unless you have a reflow oven or other specialized equipement no way to swap them.
