Question CPU clock speed dropping to 0.5 Ghz randomly

Hello, Im running into a problem where my CPU's clock speed will randomly drop to 0.5 Ghz for no apparent reason. Sometimes it only lasts a few seconds, while other times it will last until I restart my PC. This machine has been working fine for a while now, so I'm a little confused. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

maybe lan drivers?

replaced GPU drivers? try running ddu in safe mode, uninstall Nvidia drivers, boot back into normal mode and reinstall newest Nvidia drivers.

I get an error saying I dont have an AMD system whenever I try to update my chipset drivers.

Updated lan drivers to no avail.

Fresh gpu drivers, nothing changed.
