when playing video games my CPU clock speed drops from 3.2 ghz to 1.6ghz after a few minutes, it then goes back up to 3.2 and then every 2 minutes or so, keeps going down to 1.6 for a few seconds and then back up, I’ve been trying to fix this issue since ages, the games run smoothly on low settings and high fps, although for some reason it seems like there’s some form of throttling,I’ve turned all bios power management settings off, and many other bios settings thst may affect performance or thst are useless, the problem still occurs, also underclocking does not fix, I cannot even use intel xtu because it’s not compatible with my cpu to launch, also the temperatures are all pretty stable around 50, maybe only core 1 gets go 60 occasionally, but it shouldnt be high enough for throttling, since my cpu should be supposed to throttle by 90-100 degrees or so... I’ve even tried disabling the windows throttling directory and still didn’t work... so do I need a new motherboard where I can fully disable any throttling?because with my current motherboard I haven’t had the possibility to find an option specifically mentioning cpu throttling, although some option did seem like it included cpu throttling within it, and I had disabled it.
