CPU comparison build

i have finally decided to buy a new desktop
and i researched all over for it
i talked to the local sellers today
please guide me for a better solution:

What i am buying it for :
running virtual machines, as my degree is all about cyber security and cloud.
running fl studio, as i am also a musician.

what i have looked so far:
i was looking for ryzen7 1800x - rs.40000
1700x- 31300
1700 - 26000
i76700k- 26000
i77700k - 26900

i am confused between performance and services issues.
here in india there are not many users of amd and even the sellers provide you with intel cabinets on the spot while they demand a week or 3-4 days for amd assembled pc.

i finally ended up with making a list with following
1. a corsair 16gb single stick ram - rs 9200
2.120 gb ssd - rs 3500
3 1 tb hardisk - rs 3400
4 aorous gigabyte motherboard z270 -11600
5.a cabinet by circle + 500watt iball smps - 4900
6.an l.e.d LG monitor-display-ips - rs 5600
7. coolermaster hyper cooler - 2950
8. intel i7 7700k processor rs 26900

i cant decide if a quadcore with good clock speed single core performence is betr or a multicore octacore like amd??
should i reconsider evrythng and go for amd or something? please guide me ..and m not buying a gpu as for now m saving that for later...at present there is no need for games on this desktop..
please hellp!!


EDIT : And i also wanted to ask if it would be better if i get a SATA 3 6gbps SSHD rather than a HDD?? and in what measures should i compare between SSDs i buy and about the PSU i am thinking to go for Corsair VS Series VS550 - 550 Watt SMPS.. would it be good??and also if for RAM 16 gb stick of corsair lpx 2400mhz will be betr or gskill 2400mhz or a corsair 3000mhz? which one is good for z270 chipset??

The quick breakdown of Ryzen vs i7 is that Intel is still faster for gaming but the Ryzen's are cheaper and better for things that require multi-core processing, like video editing and streaming. Here are some links with info

Now for your build
- get two sticks of RAM instead of one, then the memory can run in dual channel
- you have picked a cheap PSU, this is major mistake, especially for this build which is an overclocking build.

I am also worried that 500W is not enough.

SSHD's are a good choice if you do not have intentions on purchasing a separate SSD.

SSD's are compared primarily on read, write, 4K read and 4K write speeds.

Last, get the Corsair 3000MHz RAM, 2 X 8GB.
