Hello community

So my problem is that my fx 8120 cooler is waaay to loud (stock one). I have had issues before but that was with a wrong cooler on this thing( Some old athlon one or something, no heatpipes, small). This one is big,got 4 heatpipes and everything but here comes the issue. I dont know is it the cooler or settings but the thing is just screaming. I looked up at somewhere, dont remember where but its running 5900-6300 Rpm, and thats loud. When my computer goes to auto sleep (w7 stock sleep time, 5 min or so and the screen goes black) it goes quiet, temps are the same and all. So what can i do? I have changed the thermalpaste, checked if its fitted correcly and im out of ideas now. Please help me, all this noise is really distracting

Solution
Sounds good. If you have a case fan with a speed controller, be sure to crank up the case fan speed so that it can dissipate hot air from the case faster and cool down the components more quickly.
i will try that next time i power up, just noticed. I have 2 accounts: admin(mine) and user (parents, sister), when in the user account everything is quiet, but when i log into the admin account the fan starts going fast again

Well i have the gigabytes utily ET6 or something, maybe uninstalling it or something will fix it? Or unterclocking my cpu (lowering võlts) ?

Ahhhh, EasyTune6 is annoying! I installed that and noticed that when you disable fan control, it'll just run all fans at 100% as opposed to revert to PWM control; uninstalling it also didn't help and all of my fans were just left running at 100%.

Okey so i fixed this thing myself, i had a "rack" pc and i just changed it back to my original case and i looked inside the CPU cooler, there was like 1cm thick on dust right under the fan, so that was the problem 😀 Now the only thing that is loud is my GPU but that has some Fan issues (only starts at 81% fan speed)
