Cpu cooler or more case fans?

I currently want to over clock my CPU (g3258) so I could play cs go at higher fps, but I have a stock cooler and 1 exhaust fan, I heard it is dangerous to overclock without all the other components being properly cooled, is this true? I'm thinking to get either 4 case fans with fan controller, or 1 CPU cooler (hyper 212 evo) I also cannot add more case fans without the fan controller because I only have 1 case header, and I won't use the splitter because my case would look too dumb with just one case fan in the front. Thanks for your time.

You need both a cooler and more case fans. You want at least 2 intake fans in your system, and then the cooler. Right now you don't have enough cool air in there.
The CPU cooler will give you more overclocking headroom I would have thought. Case fans will help airlfow through the case, but since it is the CPU that you are overclocking I'd opt for buying a CPU cooler first. I'd also keep an eye on your motherboard mosfet temperatures, they can get pretty hot when voltage is increased.
