CPU cooler that will fit

Hey everyone,
I am planning to buy a new CPU cooler and motherboard
My Specs:
i5-2500k
ASUS P8Z77-M PRO (or p8z77-m)
Cooler master cmp-350

I was looking forward to oc to 4.5GHz. So I thought an aftermarket cooler would be necessary.
I searched and found hyper 212 evo. I was gonna order it.
But unfortunately, the heatsink is 160mm. The max CPU cooler height that my case supports is 155mm.
I looked for other options. All the ones are either costlier or don't fit. Also not many models are available in India, so I was tight on options. Last option I think is to buy h40 or h70. But I really don't want to spend too much on CPU cooler. Please recommend a cheap option.
I could also buy a new case if liquid cooling option isn't cheaper.

Here look at this CMP-350 dimensions...
Not to be a naysayer here but the OP does state 155mm max height. You state that there is room for a 160mm cooler because the case is 162mm wide - you could be right... IF the motherboard is mounted to the right side panel. It is not, it is mounted on the motherboard tray which is offset from the right panel by a bit more than 2mm.

I'll suggest checking out the following link for possible lower profile coolers http://www.frostytech.com/top5_lowprofile_heatsinks.cfm

See the specs page. It says max cooler height - 155mm
Hyper 212 evo is 159mm. 212x is 158mm.
You are saying that 162.5mm is available. But it also includes mother board offsets and hyper 212 requires a backplate as well. I really don't think it will fit unless I either shave off the upper part or make holes in my case. I really don't think either one is a good solution.
And 212+ is 158.5mm itself.

Here look at this CMP-350 dimensions:
http://www.coolermaster.com/product/Detail/case/mid-tower/cmp-350.html
180 x 408 x 454 mm

and the Hper 212 evo dimenions:
http://www.coolermaster.com/product/Detail/cooling/cpu-air-cooler/hyper-212-evo.html
120 x 80 x 159 mm

There is enough room for the cooler to fit in!
