Hi to everyone on this forum i am kinda new here and i have an interesting problem kinda XD
So I experience that my cpu core speed goes down while i play some a little more demanding games like DOOM, Witcher 3 and even games like CS GO/ Mortal Kombat X
My temperatures are fine as far as i can tell
The game first run perfect around 60 fps with core speed 2652,25MHz with Multiplier x11,5(5,8-11,5) with cpu usage of around 60 % and around 41 °C than it start lagging for some time and cpu usage jumps to 100% core speed 1326.70MHz Multiplier 5,75(5,75-11,50) temperature is same..
I would be so happy if someone could find me a solution to this
My cpu is phenom x4 9650
4 gb DDR 2 ram
GTX 750TI graphic

I think your processor is throttling, likely because of heat.
60% usage on a quad may be composed of two threads @100% and 2 doing little.
When a cpu throttles, the multiplier will drop until heat is under control and the multiplier gets raised in a cycle.
What is your motherboard?
Many older amd motherboards had very weak VRM cooling.

What is your cooler?
Is it working well and free of dust?

Take your case covers off and direct a house fan at the innards and see if that helps.

I have asus m2a Mx motherboard yeah its pretty old but can't afford new one right now, also i have some Foxconn cooler for processor. The cooler is not that clean but works just fine.
i don't have any other case fan should i get one?
