[SOLVED] CPU debug light on and not detecting CPU

So I just finished building a new pc I have a list of the specs below and the EZ debug LED for the CPU light is on and I looked in the manual for the motherboard and it says that means it's not detecting the CPU I've made sure all the standoffs are correct thermal paste correct RAM sticks correct all connections correct and I'm out of ideas if someone could help that would be great

My specs are i7 8700 k
MSI z370 gaming Pro carbon AC
8 gigabytes of ddr4 G skill Ram
1tb Samsung 860 Evo SSD
MSI GTX 1070 TI
EVGA 600b power supply and
Cooler Master 212 Evo CPU Cooler

Hi, What CPU using? A BIOS update might be needed for the board to support the CPU.
