CPU Debug Light On

Hello I today I upgraded from a i7 7500 to a i7 8700k. I also upgraded to a MSI Gaming Pro Carbon Mobo. I plugged everything in but my monitor said no signal and my Ez Debug CPU light was on. Don't know what I did wrong. Thanks for the help.

Which motherboard did you upgrade to? Would need to be the Z370 version of the Pro Carbon to support the 8th Gen chip.

If it is the Z370 board, try reseating the CPU and checking for any bent pins in the CPU socket.

The motherboard is indeed z370. And I know it's in the right place because of the arrow on the CPU and on Mobo. Also, there are no pins
