CPU doesn't turn ON

My CPU once got strucked by lightning and since then my Onboard LAN is not working for a few months it went back miraculously after month it went back being dead and also after a week my CPU now doesn't turn ON. I'm planning to bring it to a repair shop but I'm afraid I might get deceived for not knowing the real problem. Any ideas what could be the problem? Thanks!

Solution, purchase a surge protector and make sure your LAN cable goes through a surge protector of it's own to safe guard your investments.
