[SOLVED] CPU Fan Compatibility

I'm probably going to upgrade my Ryzen 5 1400 to a Ryzen 7 1700X so I'm wondering since the 1700X doesn't come with a fan, if I can use the fan from my 1400 with it.

I can't think of a reason why you couldn't.

Although, if you do, I would keep a close eye on the temps immediately after you fire it up....and then I would run it hard and monitor the temps as well and make sure they don't go too high.
