CPU fan cooler position

Hi guys wanna ask something about my CPU fan position idk if this is the right position or not

Q: will this affect my PSU above? or i have to reposition it again and face it upward
btw my mobo is AM3 Socket

Yes, i know my PC is kinda old and dirty, but im planning to upgrade soon XD

your position would be fine, if having PSU in bottom, and bottom intake and outtake in upper part - this works really well...

for your setup i would recommend to turn it 90 ° counter clockwise - so it should blow to the left in your picture...
this would support your airflow in the housing - nevertheless - your setup will work, but might most likely result in
2 or 3 °C more temp on the CPU

thank u very much for the reply , is it ok to reposition it making the fan face upward idk if i can counter clock wise it i dont know how sorry and last do you know how to remove or take out the cooling fan? ive tried it several times but its like its stuck there

Ignore the top fan , Cooler should be like this , when possible.

there should be a second set of holders for the cooler - but some cooler towers have not added to accessory :-/

i also did below cooling style for some cases, and it works quite well

theres non unfortunately :\ i dont know if i can do like the picture above or the one you suggested i cannot rotate it

If it can't be rotated because of room , you may have to leave it as is.

yes, last question will the heat coming out of the back of the cpu cooler will affect my PSU?

oh im very sorry i misunderstand what i mean is the fan is sucking the air and the heat goes to the back, what bothers me is will the heat affect my PSU? or theres still a problem ? im very sorry im not very good at english :|

yes, it is still positioned like in the pic the heat goes out at the back not in the fan

yes it does, in two ways, if your CPU sucks up hot air from CPU area it will
first make the PSU fan run faster, as it runs hotter - so it might be louder,
and of course if PSU run with higher temp it will age faster...

if you would force me to give it a number, regular PSU should do at least for
5 years, with your setup i would roughly guess, it might quit at ~ 3,5 years...

yeah thats the thing that really bothers me since my PSU is not rated lol its generic 700 watts and it blows hot when im playing games but my CPU temperature is only at 30-35 degree when im not playing games
