Installed the kraken and all was well, great temps and looks amazing! Went to the store and came back to my PC tried to wake it and it froze. Now getting the dreaded cpu fan error! Cant access bios as it shuts down after a few seconds! Mobo is ASUS 970 aura, I did some trial and error and can get it to post and almost to my desktop before shutdown by connecting main plug from the pump to pump connector on my board and the 2 fans from the cooler to the CPU_FAN and CPU_OPT on my board! Any other config only gets me cpu fan error and immediate shut down! So the config i used gets rid of the error but still shuts down after boot or being in bios. Plz need some help asap! Thanks!

Agreed. That sounds like the pump unit of the cooler system has failed, so even though fans on the radiator are running, the CPU overheats very quickly. The first error - the one that gave you the CPU Fan Error - was, in fact, a warning of failure of the PUMP unit, because that is what was plugged into the CPU_FAN header.

Well i know its not the board as i was using the wraith cooler and never had an issue! Also the kraken ran good for a few hours...temps were great...the unit itself powers on..fans run...the only fix i havent tried is to plug a case fan into cpu_fan as it may be a rpm issue( too slow)..just to get into the bios and set it to ignore the error! Almost everyone has fixed this issue in different ways And none had a dead cooler there was a fix! If that doesnt work..ill put the wraith back in and do it that way...just was wondering if anyone has had the same issue and how they fixed it
