Just installed my new deepcool captain 240 EX and on start up I get CPU FAN ERROR. I've been looking on my cpu temp and it seems to be stable at 31-33 celcius.

I connected the pump to cpu fan, and the fan hub to cpu opt. My previous cpu watercooler's pump thingy was connceted to cha fan 1 before with no problems. Got cpu error doing that as well now.

Im not sure what I did wrong.

UPDATE:
I've reduced the CPU Fan Speed Low Limit to 400 from 600. There is no cpu error now but is this okay? Im new to this.

Also someone say to disable CPU Q controll, im not sure what's best.

Solution
You should connect the fan hub to the CPU fan and the pump to whatever can deliver enough power to run it.
You get a CPU fan error when your mobo doesn't receive any signal from a running fan.
