cpu fan full speed after cpu upgrade

Hi, i just upgraded a hp dx7500 lga 775 system with a intel xeon x5450 lga771 cut to fit on lga 775 cpu it booted right away and havent asked for microcode update but the fan got crazy after the cpu upgrade still the cpu temp is not high its 37 c at idle. it goes full blast right after bios kicks in its like the fan smart settings got lost and there is no option in bios for smart fan or hw monitor. any ideas? thanks

im guessing going from 65 w to 120 w tdp cause this still when the cpu temp isnt high i dont why it gets up to full speed
