CPU Fan Heatsink not covering whole of CPU

My CPU fan heatsink (Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus) is not covering less than 1mm of the CPU and I was wondering if that is a problem.

Should be perfectly fine if your CPU socket type is listed as compatible. The visible part on the CPU top is just a lid/heat spreader, not actually representing the actual size of the interior heat generating parts.

If it fits, it sits. It should be fine.

Just check your temps.

The hottest part of the CPU die is, by far, the center. As long as that is covered, you should be good.
