CPU fan help

Yesterday I installed my hyper 212 Evo onto my mobo and CPU, when screwing in the final two screws I had to apply force and it was pretty hard to screw in.
It all fit in the end, but I was just wondering if because I had to exert pressure to screw it in, would the fan be causing too much pressure on my CPU?

No. You'll crack around the holes in the board before you crush the CPU.

Unless you were presented with the loud and unsettling sounds of a board cracking, you should be fine.

If you didn't hear any noises like cracking coming from your CPU socket you are probably okay.
