CPU fan loud

Hello, my CPU fan is super loud even when I'm just watching a video on youtube.

Should i change CPU fan + thermal paste or just thermal paste

SPECS
CPU: i5-2400
FAN: the fan that came with the CPU
MOTHERBOARD: LENOVO 7033GL1
GPU: GTX 1050 Ti
RAM: DDR3 8GB

What are your temps at idle, and while watching video?

I would suggest 1st checking that the fan is spinning properly and the heatsink is fitted properly with enough pressure. Clean the system of any dust for optimal air flow. Reapply some new thermal paste if its been longer than 6 months - 1 year since the last appliation.

If doing both of these things does not fix the problem, I would recommend a aftermarket cooler.

make sure there is not rattling noise from it or vibration sounds from worn bearings. Also stock coolers arent very good at keeping things cool.
