CPU fan speed error

Hello,

I recently purchased a pre-built gaming PC from PCCG and have no problems thus far.

When booting up earlier today i was presented with "CPU fan speed error detected" (imgur showing error below).
I believe this would be easy to fix within BIOs however, my knowledge of updating BIOs is very limited (and i mean very limited). I think i may have reset the default settings on BIO's when trying to fix the issue (remember above i said my knowledge if very limited!!) would this have caused problems with the PC?
Any suggestions on solving the issue is greatly appreciated ill also attach some imgurs of current BIOs.

There is no need to update or reset BIOS.
[strike]CPU cooler fan is probably connected to system fan header and not cpu fan header.
Open up your PC and check it. Consult motherboard user manual for location of CPU fan header.[/strike]

Or post photo of insides of your PC, if you cant figure it out.

Edit: It's also possible that PWM/DC setting for your fan is incorrect and that's why BIOS is giving error.
Try the other setting.

Sorry for the late reply, from what I can see the water cooling system is connected to the CPU fan header. I contacted PCCG today, they advised to go into BIO's and update the settings to ignore the CPU fan. I have done this which has removed the error when booting.
My next concern is... when I boot my PC CPU fan sits around 1800-1900 RPM, when under load the CPU fan RPM stays around 1800-1900? Ambient temp is around 22-24 degrees, under load GPU temp gets to around 70 degrees, with mobo sitting around 60 degrees... I'm not aware of what temps are normal, I've looked online but looks like it varies depending on your system.

If CPU fan in idle and under load has same RPMs, then it obviously is not being regulated correctly.
Did you try PWM mode fan setting in BIOS?

To my knowledge its currently set to DC, will change to PWM when I get home and let you know the result.

Changed CPU fan settings to PWM, RPM staying around 2400 with no load...

Here is how the fan is connected:

It looks like you have connected pump connector to CPU fan header. That is wrong.
Pump should be connected to molex connector through adapter.
2 fans on radiator should be connected to Y fan cable adapter and connected to CPU fan header.
Edit: If you don't have Y fan cable adapter, you can connect one fan to cpu_fan header and other to cpu_opt header.

Ohhhh I see what your saying! Yes from what I can see the pump is connected to the CPU fan header..
I brought this PC from PCCG recently, will be calling them tomorrow to hopefully sort it out.

Why do you need to call them? Don't you have those adapter cables?

Nah I don't, even if I did I'm not confident enough to try fix it! Haha
