Also, (being I do not have that motherboard) I know some the fan curve settings sometimes are based on PWM fans and sometimes another solution.. there is at least in some of the PCs I have built an switch to tell it how to control the fans.. AND sometimes like the current motherboard I have.. you can click an button in the UEFI / BIOS to test the fan speeds so it goes through the full spectrum of the fan speed and sets limits like high and low rpm so it does not think it can spin slower then the fan can actually spin.. I find that a nice feature. ALSO the second main thing (other then software you may have installed in windows like LuckyMatt42 stated) is make sure you set the fan speed to the correct temp sensor IF you have that option...
