My cpu fans started to make a loud spinning noise few days ago, but for some reason when i manually spin them backwards, it either fixes it or doesnt affect the noise at all. Today i cleaned my whole pc with compressed air and i even used it in the bearings but it didnt help either. I also tried adjusting fan curves on my cpu and gpu fans but i think the cpu fans are the problem since i tried pressing the middle of my case fans but they didnt affect the noise at all. temperatures and usages are fine, and fan rpms are the same all the time. Could it be a software issue? I use windows 11

my specs are ryzen 7 5800x3d, 16 ram, rtx 3060 and my cpu cooler is noctua NH-D15 and my case if Lian Li LANCOOL II Mesh C

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Might want to take a video with audio of the issue you're speaking of and pass it on for us to see. Host your video on a site akin to Imgur and then pass on a link on this thread.

How old is your CPU cooler? Possible that the fans have given out. The cooler's product site;
https://noctua.at/en/nh-d15/specification
states that the cooler is covered under a 6 year warranty. This isn't limited to the cooler, the warranty includes the fans.
