Question CPU Fan works but doesn't spin when hot ?

Hey.

My ThinkPad L15 G1 10310U, when it boots or when I do a fan test, works/spins but when I'm using it normally, the fan doesn't work/spins. Even when I stress test the cpu, no spin whatsoever, temps go to 90ºC and nothing.

BIOS and drivers are updated. Tried in LMDE 6 and Windows 10.

I believe since the fan works in tests/boots it is perfectly operational to be in use or am I wrong? Can it be a fan problem?

Can someone help me, please?

I run Speedfan and it doesn't show any info about the fan....

Yes it is, Lenovo Thinkpad L15 Gen1.

I ran all the Lenovo utilities programs, everything is updated and no error found in fan.

The fan works when I boot or when it's updating something but it then stops and never spins again until next boot.

Yes it does. When I activated the best performance a pop-up appeared about the intelligent cooling being used.

But still no fan spin

I did both. The cpu went to 95ºC . Fan not spinning.

BIOS is updated.
I bought this laptop on ebay, arrived yesterday.
As I said the fan works and spins (when I do a diagnosis), but simply does not spin when using the laptop normally when it's heating.

Yes.

Both with Windows 10 and LMDE 6
