Cpu for for 1600 x 900?

Hello,
i have hd 6770 gddr5 and lg 20 inch led..i want a cpu for gamingg..i play games like batman,mw3, l.a.noire.
i have two options 1.amd phenom ii X2 560
2.amd athlon X4 645
both are of same price.

Agreed, a quad core CPU would be a much better option.

I think AMD Phenom II X2 560 is better than athlon X4 645.because you want to play games, it needs a faster cpu.

90$ is my budget...i will not go for any overclock or unlocking cores..

You would probably have to overclock, then again you will get much better performance with an overclocked phenom II.

Phenom II X2 570 BE or Phenom II X3 740 BE, overclock the crap out of them and then unlock the cores and see what speed it can be stable at.
