CPU for General Computing

Hello all,

I need help on purchasing a CPU. My goal is to build a PC for my family general use. Primary uses for this computer will be internet browsing and video streaming. I am looking for a CPU that can easily do this for the next 3-5 years. I am currently looking at an i3-4130 but I am open to suggestions for the AMD side of things. The CPU does not have to have onboard graphics as I will be using a GTX 660 (or 770) in it. The price range for the CPU is around $130. The less the better but all feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Please provide suggestion(s), logic behind it(them), and any feedback you deem necessary.

A Pentium G3258 will be cheaper and enough for general computing, but can be overclocked later on when extra performance is needed. It also has Intel HD graphics.

Will the G3258 accept DDR3 1600/1833?

The onboard memory controller on the cpu will only support 1333 mhz. speeds, but the ram will still work.
