i have an athlon xp 2200+ with an asus a7n8x deluxe, i recently installed an slk800. it ran fine, the following day my case got knocked over on its side while it was running and the computer froze. now i can go into windows and do some things, but whenever it uses 100% of the cpu the computer freezes and or restarts, i cant reinstall windows for that reason as well, what could be the problem?

It could be a million things. The heatsink might have slid a little so that it no longer makes perfect contact with the CPU. Depending on the thermal interface material used it may need to be reapplied. The CPU might have even been damaged. And the poor hard disk... Have you run a surface scan on the hard drive for physical damage?

You're welcome. Sometimes it's the simple things that make all the difference. :)
