Problem: While im gaming some of my games that normally run perfecty OK with great FPS i get big lag spikes, for example: GTA Online gets from 60FPS to 1-0FPS for few seconds then returns to normal, or Escape From Tarkov goes from 130FPS to 0 FPS for 10+ seconds. It doesnt appear to be becasue of CPU temp, which are 55-58C most of the time, and it also doesn't appear to be becasue of Voltage Regulator Module (VRM) overheating because it does have heatsink on top of it.

PC Specs:
CPU: AMD FX-8300
GPU: AMD RX 570
SSD: Patriot Burst 240GB
Motherboard: GA-970A-DS3P

Addtional info:
When GTA lags, my GPU Utilization drops to 0%
CPU running on idle:

CPU running under load:

Lagging ingame can have a number of causes.

  1. A crappy game server
  2. Viruses
  3. A slow HDD
  4. Overheating issues, both CPU and GPU.
  5. Unstable or slow internet
  6. Apps running in windows background. A common cause.
  7. Insufficient RAM, causing paging file system.
All will need investigating!!!

  1. GTA doesnt even have official servers, Tarkov does have great servers
  2. Unlikely, ESET Shows no malware, so does roguekiller
  3. IDK how to answear this one, i have GTA on same HDD i had it half a year back, when it was working correctly, and i have Tarkov on pretty quick SSD
  4. CPU is 58C while gaming and GPU 60C while playing
  5. https://prnt.sc/17ziw0z
  6. No apps running in background, sometimes Discord
  7. 2 Sticks of 2GB RAM and 1 Stick of 4GB RAM
