Question CPU Frequency drop while gaming

hello guys, so here is my problem, while i'm playing games like pubg cod, my cpu frequency drop from 3800MHz to like 2500MHz in the middle of round like in pubg that i play alot, so my fps drops from 100 to 55, and if i quit the game the frequency goes back,and if i launch the game and start a game, it will happein again in the middle of the game,my temp are like 80C-90C
and my spec is asus gaming laptop gl704gm with i7 8750h and 1060 6gb

Yeah thats a classic case of thermal throttling im afraid. when a cpu gets hot it will begin to thermal throttle (bring down the clock speed to bring the temperature down) the temperature which throttling usually begins is around 85c. The reason it resets after you close the game is that the cpu will instantly lose its load, therefor temperatures will drop rapidly. and the clock speed can go back up

yeah but it happein to me since the first game i mean pubg isn't that hard for i7 8750h, so what should i doo
