CPU frequency stucks at +105%

Hello,

I upgrade my pc a few days ago and im having a problem that i don´t know how to fix. The thing is after some minutes, sometimes hours of beiing used my games (btf4, cs:go,, etc) or my browser freezes and my cpu frequency stucks around 105%. Once this happen it all turns unstable, when i try to exit through the task manager the programs won´t answer and even if i manage to close everything my cpu frequency stills up there even when the ussage is below 50%. I´m sure it is not any kind of vyrus because the memory was formatted and i didn´t install more than drivers and all that stuff.

My specs:

CPU: Intel Core i5-6600 Processor (6M Cache, up to 3.90 GHz)
RAM: Crucial Ballistix ddr4 2400 udimm (1 8gb stick)
GPU: Zotac GTX 1070 AMP
MOBO: Asus Maximus VII Hero Alpha
POWER SUPPLY: Sentey xcore power 730 watts
Hard Disk: Western Digital WD10EARS-00MVWB0

I´m really upset by this, and i would thank every help you can provide me to solve this tedius issue.

Where is the 105%? Resource MOnitor? (resmon.exe) That would be turboboost in effect. Windows does not detect the proper maximum CPU speed, so that's the issue. Oh, and is the CPU usage n the neighbourhood of 10-30%? That would be the game not responding, since that is now running frozen and causing the CPU to TurboBoost to the maximum clock speed

Yes, i see this in the Resource Monitor. The CPU ussage goes around 20-50% while playng and i think it stills the same when the game crashes. What would you recommend me to do?

I think we can safely assume that it is the gam'es issue. Have you tried updating it, or reinstalling the game? If it is still the same, consider updating your drivers. Can you send screenshots? If not, try to install another copy of Windows and run the game from there. What are your temperatures for your system? Use HWinfo or Open Hardware Monitor to detect sensors. Again, send screenshots if possible

This is most likely not a virus.

I´m not sure it´s a game problem. This is even happening when i´m watching videos in youtube and in several games. I´ll try to download these programs you tolld me and send some screenshots when the issue happens. Also the temps are pretty avarage they don´t surpass 50 degrees (Celcius). I have every driver update and i´ve just installed some optional windows downloads in Windows update to see if it helps. Thanks for helping.

It may be your BIOS issue. Have you updated that? IF possible, ask you motherboard manufacturer for help, they have the required information
