Hi everyone… I would like to know if Hyper 212 EVO can sustain AMD CPU FX9590?
I am new to PC Build, and I order this specs in a tight budget, but readiness in future upgrades. For now I am building AMD PC for daily computing, no Oveclock, No High-end gaming, and just home computing and virtualization test lab.
Please help to decide, I’m really confused… some says 212EVO is fair enough to hold FX9590 but others says need “close” water cooling. In my case I am using 212EVO temporarily since I’m building low end parts. My concern is CPU FX9590 & Hyper 212 EVO reliability.

AMD FX-9590 Vishera-Black Edition FD9590FHHKWOF
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

ASRock 990FX Extreme9
XFX One ON-XFX1-DLX2 Radeon HD 5450 2GB
CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB
EVGA SuperNOVA 1000w G2

Thanks in advance. Cheers.

Thanks for info SPgamer007... i'm really confused about some threads I read, but all referring to Overclocking CPU. I only want this build to sustain enough longer while I'm still saving some ca$h to upgrade for better cooling strategy, like those high end watercooling.
BTW, you referring "stock speed"... that is the basic CPU operation/ratio isn't ?
I'm goin to put this build in a open platform, like a test-bench (over its box with all its components installed) and in a open area. Thanks in advance.

EVO can't cool a 9590 , not even at stock speeds

Your choices for the 9590:

ASRock 990FX Extreme9
ASRock 990FX Extreme6
Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z
Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0
Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0
Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 R4.0
Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD5
Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD7
MSI 990FXA-GD80V2

AMD.COM

Warning: This power draw of this CPU is almost twice that of the average CPU. Due to this, AMD recommends using at minimum a 1000W power supply. For cooling, AMD recommends using either either closed loop liquid cooling or full system liquid cooling.

Thanks for the information... since I already ordered those parts I shall wait it and then return to exchange the EVO 212.

My Idea while i'm building this rig, my concept is temporary setup. its like budget build and then ready for future upgrade. That's why i did choose EVO 212 because i'm thinking while I wait (3-5-6 months maybe) the Motherboard and all of its parts are in a open-area, put on top of the motherboard box. so i'm thinking with EVO 212 can sustain while the whole area are in open with fans. of course, I'll expect some dust and i should always keep monitor and clean the part from dust.
