CPU + GPU vs. GPU + APU

i'm building my first computer, so i don't know much about this.

What Would be better an amd A10 apu with a radeon 7870 (hybrid CrossFireX) or a normal FX cpu with the same card?

AMD A10 can only be crossfired with a 6670 at most. Anything higher than that cannot be crossfired.

CPU+7870 > A10+6670

So either way, but go for Vishera or Trinity, stay away from Zambezi.

fx cpu and dedicated graphics would be better. The apu's are more for people on a tight budget who want gaming capabilities. If you are planning to buy a dedicated graphics card, then you do not want a APU.

Should i buy A10 (i can upgrade the GPU later even it means i cant crossfire)
