CPU has been spiking all of a sudden.

So a couple days ago I ran Malwarebytes just to see if I had any viruses and it found adware which I removed but ever since then my CPU has been spiking to 100% and staying there and I have no idea what to do. It seems to be more sensative if that makes sense like when I run programs it just goes super crazy and spikes to 100% then it stays there for a minute then it will go back down. If I have everything closed my CPU still spikes which is really odd. Do any of you guys have any idea what could be causing it?

Edit: Forgot to add important information: After I got rid of the virus is my PC would freeze constantly and I couldn't even right click the desktop without it freezing, I restored it and now I get the CPU issues.

You could go into system restore, and restore your computer to a time before you took out the malware. Then proceed to see if you computer runs right there. If it does you can use malwarebytes again to take it out, or try another anti malware product.

So I should of added more details what happened directly after I got rid of the virus is my PC would freeze constantly and I couldn't even right click the desktop without it freezing, I restored it and now I get the CPU issues.

Hmm its not good to have a malware running arround in you computer. You could try SuperAntiSpyware and see what that does. Just remember to make a restore point before that. http://download.cnet.com/SuperAntiSpyware-Free-Edition/3000-8022_4-10523889.html
