I downloaded HWinfo because I wanted to measure how much of my cores on my FX8350 are used while playing Watch Dogs.
I tried to run some tests and after I clicked on the button sensors my CPU fan started making noise (I have Noctua CPU and system fans so I don't hear a thing normally). Nothing extreme, but when I'm used to absolute silence it's hard going back to hearing something. Then I checked the CPU temperature and while I usually get 25-30 degrees now the temp has gone up to 35 - 40.
I uninstalled the program, restarted my PC, but the problems persists. Checked my bios to see if I could reset some settings that HWinfo might have meddled with but they were the same as before.
Does anyone have any idea how I might fix this?
